What is Prop 65?

Proposition 65 requires businesses to inform California consumers when products they purchase contain naturally occurring or synthetic chemicals at levels exceeding those established by the State of California. Although all of our wood products are regulated and certified as compliant with TSCA Title VI and the California Air Resources Board (CARB), one substance present in the wood products featured on this website appears on the Proposition 65 list.

The sewing cabinets may expose you to chemicals, including formaldehyde (gas), which the State of California recognizes as a cause of cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. For more information, visit www.P65Warnings.ca.gov/furniture.

Other products such as presser feet, chairs, and cutting mats may also contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
